My Bodywork Practice
I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1987. My bodywork career was interrupted in the 1990s when I sustained a mild Traumatic Brain Injury due to a hard fall. Seven years later CranioSacral Therapy (CST) resolved significant memory problems from my brain injury. My experience with CST inspired me to start training in it in 2009. Today CST is the sole focus of my practice.
My practice is located between Kingston and Port Gamble. If you have questions about whether CranioSacral Therapy can help you, or you want to schedule an appointment, e-mail me at email@example.com.
The Healing Possibilities of CranioSacral Therapy
CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a form of bodywork which releases fascial restrictions in the membrane system that encloses the Central Nervous System. Releasing these restrictions facilitates normal nervous system function and improves overall health and well-being. CST’s gentle techniques allow me to work deeply into my client’s tissues without extreme pressure. On two occasions I've had the joy of practicing dolphin-assisted CST in the Bahamas. Here, I am sharing a hug with Kayla.
I enjoy working with all types of clients with a variety of needs. CST helps relieve a full spectrum of pain, illness and dysfunction, including: Migraines and Headaches, Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Stress and Tension Related Disorders, Motor Coordination Impairments, Infant and Childhood Disorders, Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, TMJ Syndrome, Scoliosis, Learning Disabilities, ADD/ADHD, PTSD.
But Wait. There’s More!
I am also the Shepherdess of a small herd of Navajo Churro Sheep. These small sheep are an amazing breed with sweet and lean meat and beautiful wool. I can sell whole or sides of sheep, cut and wrapped. I butcher once a year so let me know if you want local, pastured lamb. I’ll put you on the list, just e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
